Process & Policies

• A refundable deposit of $300 is required to lock your position in my build list.

• The deposit becomes nonrefundable when the build begins or when I have purchased special materials, such as wood or tuners. This is roughly 1-2 months before I begin building.

• After your deposit is paid, you start to think about the specs and design choices you would like in more depth. I will reach out 1-2 months before your build begins to discuss details and finalize the design. The final price of your instrument will depend on all of the specific requests and will be communicated before the build begins. Next I will begin to source any materials that I may need.

• I am solely responsible for sourcing materials for the instrument, your input is welcome but final acquisition is my role.

• When construction begins 50% of the final cost will be due.

• Once the build proposal is approved and deposit is received, specifications are locked. Any mid-build changes are subject to a Change Order fee and potential schedule adjustments.

• Throughout the entire build I will share images with you of the progress. I have no secrets and love to talk about my process and love to give you a look behind the curtain.

• The final 50% + shipping is due upon completion. Your original deposit will be factored into this cost.
